Despina Asteri was born in Corinth in 1990, she has a degree in Special Harmony from the Athens Conservatory and a degree in saxophone.She has presented classical saxophone works such as Fantasia for Solo Saxophone Dinos Constantinides, J.S. Bach Suite No1 Prelude, A. Glazounov, Paulu Bonneau, D. Sostakovich, She has also presented a work for saxophone and cello such as the musical Memory from Cats and has participated in an orchestral ensemble for trumpet, cello and piano.
For years she was a member of the Philharmonic of the Municipality of Corinth, she has served as a saxophone teacher at the Music School of Corinth and is an official member of the Philharmonic of the Municipality of Aspropyrgos.
She has attended seminar with the worldwide known saxophonist/composer and conductor Prof. Alain Crepin, as well as from the Greek Sax Association. She has also attended online seminar of wind instruments.
She is a graduate of the Athens University of Economics, (ASOEE) and runs an accounting office with her husband.

This category includes videos that she has artistically edited herself in collaboration with musicians and artists of all kinds of art. Snapshots from solo performances and concerts are also shown.

Symphonic Dances, Op. 45, is an orchestral suite in three movements completed in October 1940 by Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff. 

It is his final major composition, and his only piece written in its entirety while living in the United States.

Rachmaninoff composed the Symphonic Dances four years after his Third Symphony.
